Lori Fry, originally from Bogotá, Colombia, earned her Master of Arts
degree in the Teaching of Languages from the University of Southern Mississippi
in 2001. Ms. Fry joined the IRSC faculty in 2006 and currently teaches
elementary Spanish courses such as SPN 1120 and SPN 1121 online, ITV, and live.
She sponsors the IRSC Spanish Club which promotes the use of the Spanish
language among native and second language learning speakers and provides
opportunities to members for increased campus and community knowledge of the
Spanish speaking world. Ms. Fry also sponsors study abroad trips to Hispanic
countries, such as Perú and Spain. She currently is studying in a doctoral
program through FAU’s College of Education in the Department of Curriculum,
Culture, and Educational Inquiry.
